Kids do well when they can. If your child or teen is not doing well, let's figure out what is getting in the way.

Behavior is communication. Kids show us how they feel and what they need through their behavior. Misbehavior shows us that they don't have an acceptable behavior strategy for the situation and need our help to develop one.

Shifting the way we view misbehavior to a developmental and relational framework allows for a much more flexible approach to helping our children improve behavior, while preserving and often improving family relationships.

We work with children and teens to help them learn to recognize the physical and emotional signals their body gives them and develop more adaptive self-regulation skills and behavioral strategies. This approach helps them build skills and tools that they can rely on in the wide variety of life circumstances they will encounter.
